Join Rick Nodine for a week Contact Improvisation Retreat in Northern Italy this summer.
CI Workshops, Bodywork & Somatics, Jams, Rest in Nature & local organic food.
It is called Tender Agility, and it’s all in the name:
tender: /ˈtɛndə/ 1. showing kindness and affection
agility: /əˈdʒɪlɪti/ 1. ability to move quickly and easily
It will be a 5 day CI intensive in the North of Italy, with workshops, bodywork and somatics sessions, Jams, hang out in the sun and swim in the river. We have been wanting to collaborate with Gaia Terra for a long time, so we are excited about spending a week in this Ecovillage nested in beautiful countryside, equipped with a state-of-the-art dance studio and gardens where they grow the food we will eat.
CI Workshops will include:
- Somatic exploration
- CI technique/patterns and skills
- Exploration space
- Time off will allow space to share moments of friendship, rest and enjoy nature
Where?
Gaia Terra, in the North of Italy. Gaia Terra is an Ecovillage nested in beautiful nature equipped with a state-of-the-art dance studio, beautiful surroundings and a river! Gaia Terra is more than just a site that is hosting us. It is an experience that aligns with the values of our community. With the values we aim to support about sharing, caring, growth and respect for nature.
3 accommodation options (bring your own sheet, pillow case and sleeping bag):

- Mattress in Luna dormitory
All food served in Gaia Terra is local, 100% organic and vegan. Whenever possible, it is auto-produced on site!

All participants will be asked to become a member of Gaia Terra (EUR 5 membership fee to pay upon arrival) and to contribute to the life of the Ecovillage with two 30 minutes slots of volunteering during their stay.
